The Convention will feature White Elephant items for sale and a Raffle.
Hours of operation will be listed
as the convention draws closer. Items for sale will be accepted starting Thursday
afternoon. Be assured there will be plenty of time for sellers to drop off items,
and browsing time to purchase those articles you just can't resist. Transactions
will be cash or check only.
Instructions for listing the items for sale are posted on a
downloadable spreadsheet from this site. On the spreadsheet you complete the entry
for each item you want to sell. When finished attach the spreadsheet to an email
and send to the email address provided on the spreadsheet. The commission for items
sold is 15%. Please return your spreadsheet list by
Monday October 16
to allow the staff time to prepare the necessary paperwork and database. Sellers must
be registered for the convention.
At check-in we will review your items and make sure they match the list you sent to us.
We'll rubber band a paper with a short description and the price to your item before
placing it on a sale table. You can pick-up unsold items and receive your cash for
items sold anytime the White Elephant room is open including Sunday morning. While the
White Elephant function is not liable for lost, damaged or stolen items, rest assured
the layout of the room and constant on-site staff will make every attempt to keep all
items safe and secure. The room will be locked when unattended.
Saturday afternoon October 21 the Raffle drawing will be held for the dozens of items
donated by the hobby industry. The items are gift certificates, structure kits, rolling
stock, decoders, books, DVDs, paintings, etc. Raffle winners will be posted immediately
after the drawing for pick-up including Sunday morning pick-ups.
